Landscapes Left Behind

When I’m in those lesser landscapes reduced by fog or angle of view, the experience gives me the feeling of being left behind. Perhaps i should have taken a different, a higher road, looking for the majesty of the moment. Instead it is a very quiet time of leaving those thoughts aside and settling into what is left when its not about me.
